2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Exterior
The exterior design features Hyundai's unique language with its "jewel-like" black grille and large driving lights that flank the grille treatment, creating a unique light signature on the 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid.
The standard front daytime running lights consist of four seamlessly hidden segmented geometric-shaped LED lights that form a triangle on each side. A neat party trick is that these DRLs are only visible once illuminated.
Like the standard Tucson lineup, the Tucson Hybrid has a modern design that features bulging fenders, doors with interesting bulges and wedge creases along with sharp lines that extend from the front doors to the rear taillights. The wheel arches are angled, and a level roofline tapers down toward the rear.
Other road users following a Tucson will see the two triangle-shaped tail and brake lights at each corner, connected with a narrow tail light extending across the liftgate.

The gasoline engine is supplemented with a front-mounted electric motor offering 59 hp @ 1,600-2,000 rpm and 195 pound-feet of torque @ 0-1,600 rpm for a combined hybrid system of 226 horsepower.
A 270-volt lithium-ion battery with a 1.49 kWh battery capacity and 64kw output powers the electric motor.
All this hybrid power goes to all four corners with the standard HTRAC All Wheel Drive system
and a 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC and Drive Mode Select.
